Barcelona Day 2 - Cooking Course

We went to a Spanish food cooking course that came with free flow wine and eating the food at the end.

Menu:
  1. Gazpacho - cold tomato soup
  2. Tortilla - omelet with potato and onion
  3. Pan con Tomate - toasted bread smeared in fresh tomato
  4. Paella - rice dish with seafood
  5. Crema Catalana - like creme brulee

Matt and Simon took the role of making Tortilla. Did I already say a man who can cook and clean is sexy?

Flipping of the Tortilla was a lot of fun when Matt did a perfect double flip landing while Simon messed up big time!

The famous Paella is known to be cooked differently by each person and every household.
Here, she fries the rice before pouring the fish stock to cook the rice.

Gazpacho
was garnished with Garlic paste, tons of grated Mozzerella cheese and a paste of Coriander, Olive oil and Pistachio nuts - very refreshing!

For the bread, cut a ripe tomato and garlic in half and smear it on the toasted bread with drizzle of olive oil.
Very easy, tasty and healthy!!

So rich and creamy.
I could only eat 2 bites actually.

  1. Wow.... Those are the things I wouldn't dream to do...
    Hey, it looks good, though.
