Barcelona Day 2 - Casa Alfonso

Alfonso and his wife Ramona invited us to their house for dinner.

He picked us up in the city, and on the way, he took us to a cafe by the beach.

Beautiful beach that only the locals come - for some reason. So it was quiet, peaceful and just wonderful.

Then we arrived to Alfonso & Ramona's house.

And the house is on top of the hill.

The house over looks the town with view of Mediterranian Sea.

The rocks, bricks and woods used for the wine celler was brought from Ramona's mother's old house.

Next to the main house, they built a Wine
Celler
and a separate dining area
Ra
mona's decoration is so artistic and so cute. Every corner is picture perfect

A fire place to keep us warm.

Matt and Simon, to help with the cooking... or drinking rather..
.

Inside the wine celler.

Ramona loves candles and she does use a lot of them.

Alfonso takes pride in his version of Paella which was different from the cooking course. He added Chicken wings and Beef ribs. - It was very delicious.

Ramona's desert was soooo nice I probably had 10 of them.
Fresh strawberries, with cream inside.
The content of the strawberries were soaked in Cava - Spanish Sparkling Wine and was served together.
Cream was from Switzerland - so milky and not oily.

As we recall, this night was the best night in Barcelona.

We are so grateful to Alfonso and Ramona who only serves the best, going the miles to make sure we have a good time in Barcelona.
